Textile Community

Avon Guild of
Spinners, Weavers and Dyers

Welcome to the Avon Guild Website

The next Avon Guild meeting will be on 13th April 2024  at Long Ashton Community Centre.

The meeting will be in the Club Room - on the left side of the Main Hall.

As space and facilities are limited in the Club Room we won’t be having hands on dyeing for all of us, so Frances will be demonstrating dyeing with Kool Aid and other food dyes. There will be kits available for you to use at home.. There will be a small charge for the kits. Continuing the dyeing theme, Barbara will explain how she uses dyes grown by herself and will bring examples of her work.

Visitors are always welcome.

If anyone has particular workshops in which they would like to participate - please let the committee know as we will now be planning 2025 - our 50th year.
