Avon Guild of
Spinners, Weavers and Dyers

Welcome to the Avon Guild Website

The next Guild meeting is Saturday 14th February 2026.

If you have not paid your subs for this year -please bring cash or pay by bank transfer.

This year we are trying something new to help our new members and those new to spinning.

We are going to hold a short session each meeting on spinning.  We are offering one hour's tuition each meeting from 11:00 to 12:00 and plan to cover a range of topics. Please bring your spinning wheel.

February  - learn about your spinning wheel and associated equipment

March  - Learn about characteristcs and choice of fibres

April - Preparation of fibres

Further topics will be arranged in due course.

We propose to have a fleece to sort - but this may be after April.
