Textile Community

Avon Guild of
Spinners, Weavers and Dyers

Welcome to the Avon Guild Website

The next Avon Guild meeting will be on 9th June 2024  at Long Ashton Community Centre.

The meeting will be in the Bowls Pavilion - behind the Main Hall.

This month workshop is about developing your spinning, long draw and worsted. We were going to have a great wheel, but hat is now needed elsewhere. Members will be able to have a go on a Book Chakra wheel which is principally meant for spinning cotton.

Visitors are always welcome.

If anyone has particular workshops in which they would like to participate - please let the committee know as we will now be planning 2025 - our 50th year.
